Options

Eligibility and Rules

The Olomouc Corporate Half Marathon is open to all officially registered runners.

The race is designed in accordance with the regulations and guidelines of the International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF), the Association of International Marathons and Distance Races (AIMS) and the Czech Athletic Federation (ČAS).

• The race will proceed regardless of weather conditions.
• Roller blades, bicycles and other such vehicles are forbidden along the race course. Only runners are allowed on the course.
• Runners take responsibility for their physical condition and their ability to complete the distance.
• The organizers take no responsibility for the occurrence of damage of any kind due to participation in the race or its observation.
• The organizers have the right to close registration without prior announcement.
• Participation fee payment is final and non-refundable.
• Registration is only valid after the required participation fee has been paid to the organizers? bank account, cash or by bank card. The payment must appear on the organizers? bank account within 7 days after registration, otherwise the registration will be cancelled.

Special Rules for Team Races:

• Team members are not allowed to exchange their start numbers and chips.
• Under no circumstances are team members allowed to change the order in which they run. Your running order is determined by the order submitted upon registration (the runner whose start number ends with 1 will finish the first leg, the runner whose number ends with 2 will finish the second leg, etc.). Only the runner whose start number ends with 4 can finish the race.
• If you do not take off your start number and the chip once you have finished your leg, you are forbidden from continuing.
• The relay baton is a wrist band.
• It is possible to change the team members or the running order only upon CZK 100 deposit (paid in cash at the EXPO during the start number pick up).

Time-keeping

Time-keeping is provided through the use of electronic chips. The chips are collected immediately after the finish.

Technical area

The technical area area will be located on the Horní square. This area will provide refreshments, toilets, changing rooms, bag depository, showers, deposit return and massages.

First aid

First aid for runners is provided by the Emergency Medical Service at the start and finishing areas and along the entire course.

Race course

The race course stretches throughout the city center and its surrounding areas. The course is flat, mostly of an asphalt surface, partly stone and without any major changes in elevation in accordance with the AIMS/IAAF criteria.
